Vi planlegger å ha et team av sommerstudenter som skal jobbe sammen i prosjekt, med leveranser som de ansatte i Torghatten ønsker seg.

Vi forventer at de vi ansetter kan skrive kode fra dag en. Sannsynligvis går du i 3, eller 4 året på data eller informatikk, eller du har annen relevant erfaring (open source / andre prosjekter). Vi er innforstått med at det er behov for tett oppfølging av dette prosjektet, men samtidig forventer vi at du er relativt selvdreven. Vi ønsker at dere sammen tar eierskap til leveransen.

- Kotlin, Java
- React + NextJS + Typescript + Tailwind
- PostgreSQL
- Kubernetes

I Torghatten gjør vi code review av all kode. Dette gjelder også for det som produseres i sommerprosjektet. Dermed vil det alltid være mer erfarne utviklere å lære fra og som kan hjelpe om dere står fast.

Torghatten har en egen digital avdeling som består av ca. 20 personer. Vi har en utviklingsavdeling, en produktavdeling og en driftsavdeling. Sommerjobbene er i utviklingsavdelingen.

Torghatten er et av de største ferje/hurtigbåtselskapene i Norge. Med en ambisjon om datadrevet drift, og store mengder data, betyr det at digitalteamet har fantastiske påvirkningsmuligheter, både i forhold til miljø og reiseopplevelse. Med nesten 90 båter, 1500 ansatte og over 4 millioner reisende i året vil mange mennesker bli påvirket av arbeidet ditt. Digitalteamets oppgaver strekker seg helt fra datastrømmer og datainnsamling på båtene via drift og styringsverktøy for ansatte til kommunikasjon mot de reisende.

Dyp Technologies isn't just addressing a need; we're reshaping the conversation

Currently, Dyp has a prototype made by a PhD student at NTNU with expertise in
generative conversational agents, and we're on the lookout for talented developers
to assist in further development towards a commercial product.
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn about new technologies,
ambitious and flexible to pivot quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.
You should ideally possess the following skills:

- Experience with python is a must
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical
challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch) is a plus.
- Knowledge on LLM, e.g. difference between GPT and BERT; how ChatGPT is
trained and how it works.
- Experience of fine-tuning language models would be preferred.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative
environment.
